    I think FourDeltaOne was made after AlterIW was closed, not sure though

    Indeed it was. NTAutority thought the issue with AlterIWnet was the ability to played pirated DLC. He thought if FD1 didn't allow that, then it would escape Activision's gaze. Seems he was wrong.
