I had the same problem but fixed it. Its not perfect but atleast its working.
Open APE, create a new GDT and give it any name.
Create a new Asset in the created GDT.
Name it something...

If the polygon offset and sort is the same for both textures, they will flicker. Try making two custom textures, identical but with a different sort (eg. top 2 and top 3).
