    Local sound

    How to put random=randomint(2); on playerspawn at
    welcome()
    {
    self endon("disconnect");
    if (isdefined(self.welcome)) return;
    self.welcome = true;
    self.sendtime = gettime();
    self playlocalsound("playerspawn");
    }?

    Please try to explain a bit more and use [php][/php] to format your code:

    PHP Code:
    welcome()
    {

    self endon("disconnect");
        if (
    isdefined(self.welcome))
            return;

    self.welcome true;

    self.sendtime gettime();

    self playlocalsound("playerspawn");

    Best to just use the soundalias file for this - no need to modify the actual script.

    Manual is embedded in stock soundalias files:

    PHP Code:
    "# If the text in the first column of a row starts with a # character, the row is ignored",,"If the first column for a row is blank, then the row is ignored"
    ,"If the first column for a row is blank, then the row is ignored",
    # The first non-comment line of a sound alias file specifies the key name for all values appearing in this column.,,
    "# This means it is safe to swap entire columns around, though you should never swap partial columns.",,
    "# You can invent new keys, but the game will ignore them if it doesn't know about them.",,
    "# You can leave out keys, but the ""name"" and ""file"" keys must always be present.",,

    Just put both sounds as the same soundalias in the same file with a different filename. It probably should play the way you want then. If not, try adding a sequence number to them (1 and 2) or a probability.

    Please post your soundalias file so we can check that your problem was what we thought your problem was.
