q3infoboom cod 1.4 fix

Hello iam running a cod 1.4 linux server and iam trying to fix the q3infoboom server crash exploit. But for some reason i cant get this patch to work: http://aluigi.altervista.org/patches...x_linux.lpatch it tells me "There are no bytes to change in the file" wen i select cod_lnxded. So my question is am i doing anyting wrong? Or is there any other way to patch this exploit?

Just change the bytes with WinHex e.g. by hand
