First of all, I must mention that I am relatively new to modelling for CoD2, so the solutions to my questions are probably very simple.

For now, I'll just ask, "How does one create tags in Maya 6.0?"

I have previously made scoped versions of stock CoD2 weapons, but I just did the tags by naming the actual meshes. Something tells me that's not the real way to do it, as I have seen some models with many tags, often with several tags on one mesh.
