COD2 does not support the file extension .RAR. So, the answer to your question is: you can't.

Make sure you pack all your files as .zip, and rename it afterwards to .iwd.

Niels answer is correct - change .RAR to .IWD. No need to unpack it, then pack it up again.

cod2 cant read renamed .rar, because the packaging method is actually different, and the actual packaging is done by a proprietary algorithm.
