    Making a dedicated server?

This is the question: how do I do to make a dedicated server, so players can play it too? I mean, a cracked (or not cracked) server from my own PC. I've searched for a LOT of tutorials and still not working ¬¬. Really, I dont want to annoy, but I have some maps that I would like to test with other players, because I have some scripts that I must work with them and I dont find the solution for this issue

EVERY answer will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

p.s. I've been afk for a long time due to my parents disabled internet in my home, but now i'm back

    READ WITH UNDERSTANDING.

I had same problem when I was starting to host home servers. I think the problem is, you haven't got forwarded ports in your router. Forward port 28960 in your router settings (UDP + TPC for sure), and try again.

go to 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 and login. Go to portforwarding.
Open ports 20500 UDP and TPC
    20510 UDP and TPC
    28960 UDP and TPC

    The problem is:
If you don't put your pc to a fix ip (local) to your router.
If your ip local change (the bail) your server will no work anymore!
Here a good tutorial to put your pc to a fix ip. http://portforward.com/networking/static-win7.htm
And here a good tutorial to open cod2 ports to your router (my router) http://portforward.com/english/route..._of_Duty_2.htm
