Hello all, my friend recently purchased CoD2 on Steam. It put him on patch 1.2. I was going to show him some stuff on patch 1.0 but I have no idea how to get him to it. I tried all the patch switchers I could find, I also tried sending him the .exe/dll's but it didn't work that way. If anyone knows how to switch patches on the Steam version please let me know.

Hey Jared,
Try THIS Patch Switcher. (simply drag files into X:\Activision\Call of Duty 2\. Should ask for replace: gfx_d3d_x86_s and gfx_d3d_mp_x86_s)
EDIT: btw. while changing from 1.2 -> 1.0 simply remove iw_15.iwd from main-folder)Last edited by Jeplaa; 29th March 2013 at 15:03.

Also possible that the Steam is auto-updating game but dunno why to 1.2 version.
