cod2master.activision.com refresh (cod2)

Hi guys,

So I am wondering: why are some servers faster in the server list if you refresh it then other. Does this have to do with sending heartbeats to the activision server (cod2master.activision.com)? IF so, is it possible to make your server appear faster in the list if people refresh it?

So far I know you can't manipulate your position in the server list.

The server list is sorted by when they were added to the list.
So the oldest servers are listed first.
Keeping your server online will improve your position slowly over time.

Thanks for your reply. Could it also be related to the operation system on which the cod2 server is hosted? Like linux might be faster then windows?
