I am thinking about making a list with popular VPS and game server provider. So that people on killtube can find a easy and quick comparison list of VPS and game server provider.

My VPS provider is Contabo (located in Munich, Germany). They are now also providing game servers.
There is currently no setup fee due promotion. (for this summer, link)

I kinda don't even need my VPS anymore, but I have it some years already at Server4You (used to be fastdownload for CoD2 and this website, but I'm to lazy to move it from Root to VPS again lol)

IP2Location of my server (dbg.killtube.org) says Germany/North Rhine-Westphalia/Hurth though, I just know it is the Head Office, maybe thats some traffic end point.

How much of the 64 GB RAM do you use? (use free -h) If you don't use much 71 euro/month sounds expensive.

Edit: is it a VPS or a dedicated server?

Checkout LowEndBox.com or LowEndStock.com for cheap servers. Warning; most are low on RAM so no GUI OS (command-line only). I've ran COD2 servers on 128MB RAM (8/12 slots, with swap enabled).

lowendbox has gone downhill significantly in the past year. Lowendtalk's offers section is where the real fun is at.

Then again, I have enough spare resources to host about 5 high-player clans, or 50 low-player ones.
