About Hyper-V Server 2008

Anyone know what is Hyper-V Server 2008 ?
We can make game servers with that OS ?

Server 2008... wasnt that the one based on vista? Damn.

Why would you need to visualize every server? Isnt it enough to just have access to a certain part of the os?
