Cod 2 slow launching win 8

Does anyone know how to fix slow loading of cod 2 on windows 8.....
i have good specs but i dont know the problem

The problem is Windows 8/8.1/10.
You can run it as XP sp3 compatibility mode.
But then gamma doesn't work any more.
