Half Life VR triggered? I would love to try decent VR btw but those things are too damn expensive, definitely not worth it at the moment.

Yea, quite expensive and every year there is another innovation lol

Whatever, I need to start somewhere so I bought the Oculus Go for 220€, it's kinda an investment for me, because I wanna make VR games too

Also looking forward to make a KILLTUBE multiplayer "experience", e.g. using drag&drop for d3dbsp, xmodels etc.

I've never tried a VR set before, but I am not impressed with the current software either. The only game that Im awaer of, that is 'worth' to play in VR would be Resident Evil 7.
Although alot of people say that traqditional walking in VR would make them motion sick, and therefore they teleport, but this might be just weird.
I'd buy a Playstation VR headset, as my current PC isn't just potent enough, and I highely doubt that an Sandy Bridge CPU/iGPU can run anything VR at all.

Yea, from pure end consumer standpoint I guess I wouldn't buy it either.

PlayCanvas is pretty dope, e.g. http://seemore.playcanvas.com this runs at ~20-30fps and that's on a shitty builtin Oculus Go Snapdragon SoC... so for somewhat small but nice scenes, the hardware is enough (it actually can't use your Desktop hardware at all, besides hacking it the shit up I guess, like streaming PC games as video or something).

My brother bought PS-VR with Resident Evil, but he only played a few times, he hates to setup all the cables :D
