Hey guys,

So I was working on porting the Barrett M82 from MW3 to use in CoD4, and I've already gotten all the models and animations in their respective XMODEL_EXPORT and XANIM_EXPORT formats. However, when I open AssMan and try to convert the assets, I don't see anything in the raw\ directory where they are supposed to go. The converter doesn't give me any errors, and I've already tried running as admin. So as of now, I'm officially stumped. Anyone got ideas as to why this is happening?

Which OS are you running? Maybe they are in compability files

cod4 assman cannot export more than 1 entry at a time. Dont try to "export all".

@Niels: I have Windows 10, if that helps. Should I try using compatibility mode?

@IzNoGoD: I tried both. Neither of them are yielding any files.

For the time being, could somebody help me convert these files if you don't mind? I appreciate it.

Hi, I would suggest you to look at these 2 topics as solutions mentioned in them should also apply to cod4 and Win10.

Just so we are clear, what I mean is that your best course of action would be to disable UAC (User Account Control) and see if it helps.

Nope, I looked in the virtualstore and also tried it by disabling UAC, but I've got nothing.

Sorry to bump this topic again, but is anyone still willing to quickly run these through their CoD4 AssMan if they have some spare time to do it? I'd really appreciate it.

doesnt export anything for me either, but doesnt give any errors. Maybe try putting your images in cod4/textures_source or texture_source, that has worked for me in the past

Alright, I'll report back after I try it when I get home. Thanks for the advice.

Nope, still doesn't convert anything. Odd.

Finally found out the reason it wasn't working while I was re-reading a tutorial to see if I overlooked anything. Turns out I did. http://modsonline.com/Tutorials-read-471.html

Save your Asset Manager file in Cod4model_export. Anywhere else and it won't convert, but it won't have any errors.
