Hello,

Has anybody ever tried to use material bots instead of meatbot?

What I mean is, use bots like these (botzom):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gnEeqYsSlVk

But, instead of zombies, use it as humans and change the behavior - instead of following players, would follow waypoints.

Thanks

There are several approaches to waypoint logic. Meatbot is just one of them. Then there is Pezbot, which I have developed extensively. Iznogod worked out his own version as well. So, the answer to your question is yeah: different people have tried different approaches.

The big thing is that there is no problem to change map with bots made of materials, they can be destroyed and spawned at any time. They will also not use server slots.

I don't understand your use of "materials". What is a material bot?

The zombies in the video are moving materials, they're not players like in meatbot.

Well, the serious flaw in your idea isn't the waypoint method - its the fact that they wont shoot you!

Yea I was just thinking about that.
It sounds like too much work for not much benefit
