Just 17 and such an end :(

Rest in Peace, STAUFFi! Tough times for the family ahead...

I've just google-translated it and fixed some errors:

Teenager (17) dragged away by a train - dead

At a level crossing, the boy was swept away by train

Dresden - A corpse is covered on the tracks at Dresden-Kemnitz S-Bahn station (Dresden). A teen (17) was snatched by a locomotive behind the back of his best friend (16) and pulled into death...

The two young people were waiting for a train in the early Wednessday evening. Apparently they didn't notice, as around 17.15 clock a single locomotive drove through the breakpoint.

One thing is certain: The 17-year-old was hit by the locomotive and torn to death.

How exactly the accident could take place is still unclear. The investigators exclude a suicide or a crime.

Police spokesman Marko Laske (40): "The friend of the victim had not seen the incident. He stood with his back to the tracks. The [train]driver/operator could not be heard. He is still in shock."

The railway Dresden-Meissen was closed after the accident for two and a half hours. According to the Federal Police 28 trains (regional and freight) were late.

Soo so sad, it shocks me as I am living only 4km away.
But this can unexpectedly happen to anyone, so stay safe!

Really bad news...

I didn't know him so much but I'm very sad to hear this. No one deserves this, and less a 17 year old guy, but unfortunately it can happen to anyone of us...

My deepest condolences to his family.

Rest in peace, Stauffi, we won't forget you.
