What do you need b3 for when you have libcod?

If you're using a VPS for CoD2, I advise against using a gui. Uses up server resources for something not needed.

Once you take away the gui - there aint much difference between linux distros. It's all basic command lines.

You want the one with the best security.

It's a Linux server. But i must choose distribution: Debian, Ubunto or Centos. And what version is the most stable one and easiest to use?

I would either use Debian or Ubuntu, whereat I tend always more to Debian as "real" server and Ubuntu for private development stuff (because of newest packages / tech).

libcod makes it just possible to embed something like B3, but nobody ever did with the possibilities of B3. ^^

Debian is considered more stable than Ubuntu and the base installation of Debian is cleaner.
I would say Ubuntu and Debian are easier to use than CentOS. But CentOS is considered a enterprise distro.
It receives 10 years updates and has the newest security features enabled by default. Like SElinux (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Security-Enhanced_Linux).

Ubuntu has a very extensive wiki. As kung foo man says Debian hasn't got the 'newest' packages. But you could switch to testing repository which is comparable with the latest Ubuntu.
(the wiki of Ubuntu could be used for Debian, since Ubuntu is based on Debian)

(if you go for CentOS then pick the recently released version (7 (http://wiki.centos.org/Manuals/ReleaseNotes/CentOS7)))

Edit: If you go for Ubuntu then stick with the LTS (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LTS) version. It is supported for 5 years.
