Hello Guys!
I have got a bug on CoD2CompileTools.exe, it won't open.
If I click there, then nothing happens.
Nothing will be opened, no errors, just nothing, but my Radiant can be open.
I tried already: reinstall, run as admin, Call of Duty 2 reinstall...
Can somebody help me maybe..?

Turn off User Account Controls (UAC). COD mod tools use .BATCH files to run them. UAC will prevent them running because there isn't a popup asking for the requisite premissions. So, turning off UAC will normally make them run successfully.

Also, make sure that you run the COD2 install folder as administrator.

Have you tried downloading a fresh copy of the mod tools?

Also, what version of Windows are you on?

I have got copied the files from the old computer (all worked fine), and I pasted here in my new computer.

My new computer (what I use currently) has got Windows 8.1, I will not use anymore my old computer, the old computer is too slow

It's the same file what I installed (Call of Duty 2 Mod Tools): http://www.gamefront.com/files/5010188/Call_of_Duty_2_Mod_Tools

I think as first as I installed there was missing a file.. idk.. i think it was mfc71.dll, but I 100% installed it then from internet :/

Edit: can somebody make screenshot of bin? Maybe i need a .dll file more..?

Thank you, I downloaded this files and paste it in my bin folder

MSVCP71.DLL
msvcr71.dll

but it still doesn't work...

I am now sure that it doesn't work because I have got Windows 8.1...
Somebody know how to downgrade Windows 8.1, but without losing one file? (Windows 8.1 -> Windows 8)

Have you tried installing cod2 and mod tools normally?

It has nothing to do with Windows 8.1 because I have that and my mod tools work fine. But, I am running them in compatibility mode (XP SP3) as administrator.

You don't need to install the mod tools. They do not require a registry entry.

Thank you all, who helped me.
But I gave up, I refreshed my Computer.
From Windows 8.1 to Windows 8, only the installed programs I have to install again.
That will take time, but it's better than find the reason why it don't work.

Now I have reinstalled my Computer, all files are here, but I have to install all programs again. Call of Duty 2 Compiler works, I have learned that I will never install Windows 8.1 again.
I want to get inform by a guy who will install Windows 8.2 (probably it will come soon) and say me, whether all works fine.
