Hey,

I got a problem when i running cod5 server on debian:

The server seems to try to get his own IP, can you try to just set it at start?

Sry man, I wrote "net_port", try "net_ip", fixed it in post above. :D

Don't know, i google it and some guys say it's the codwaw master servers but idk..

Whats DemonWare?

Demonware is the backend Treyarch use for name authentication. World at War uses a system where everyone has to have 1 username for their squad system, and 1 only. And Demonware is the server system which authenticates that name.

Done now but only when i off the firewall.. when i run the firewall that the same..

Just open those ports in your firewall:

TCP: 28960,
UDP: 28960, 20800, 20810

Did you open those ports for both incoming and outcoming connections ? It's very important that you do or else it wont work.

Its just a problem with the FW, i just need to open the ports & the master servers ip but i dont know what is this !
For exemple: cod5master.activision.com dont work !
Did you know all ip's & ports for activision & demonware ?
And its not a problem with the binary cause its work when i off the FW ! :)

COD2, COD4, and COD:WaW all use the same Master Server, which is cod4master.activision.com

cod2master.activision.com last time i checked for cod2.

Might resolve to the same ip as cod4master though, didnt check that.
