Although im pretty sure this post will have a streisand effect, im still posting my experience with bf4 beta:
[18:31] IzNoGoD: ok i tried bf4 beta
[18:31] IzNoGoD: first: go to bf4 beta website
[18:32] IzNoGoD: then, click "download origin"
[18:32] IzNoGoD: donwload a 16 meg installer
[18:32] IzNoGoD: which downloads a 52 meg "update" file
[18:32] IzNoGoD: then, you need to create an account
[18:32] IzNoGoD: while creating an account, you have to give a unique login name
[18:32] IzNoGoD: and a password, 8-16 chars, one capital, one number
[18:33] IzNoGoD: and a mandatory security question which is ofc chosen from a list of stuff ppl can easily guess if you're on a social media website
[18:33] IzNoGoD: Then you created an account.
[18:33] IzNoGoD: you have to verify your email, but you can dl bf4 before that
[18:33] IzNoGoD: so i dl'd
[18:33] IzNoGoD: was approx 4 gb, but thats just guessing from time it took to dl
[18:33] IzNoGoD: cause there was no indication of filesize
[18:34] IzNoGoD: then, after 20 minutes or so, i clicked "play now"
[18:34] IzNoGoD: its only compatible with 64 bit os, note that
[18:34] IzNoGoD: so when i click "play now", i get firefox
[18:34] IzNoGoD: open up a webpage
[18:34] IzNoGoD: which is the serverbrowser
[18:34] IzNoGoD: so i click "play on this server" after finding a proper server
[18:34] IzNoGoD: soooo then a popup appears
[18:34] IzNoGoD: "this plugin doesnt work on 64bit browsers"
[18:35] IzNoGoD: so i thought, ok, thats kinda weird, cause its 64 bit os only
[18:35] IzNoGoD: so i switched to chropera
[18:35] IzNoGoD: then i got this nice file (.exe) to install on top of origin
[18:35] IzNoGoD: i installed it
[18:35] IzNoGoD: so i though, well, now i should be able to click the play now button in chropera
[18:35] IzNoGoD: nope.
[18:35] IzNoGoD: doesnt do shit.
[18:35] IzNoGoD: so i switch to IE
[18:35] IzNoGoD: first thing first: login to origin before you can see serverlist
[18:36] IzNoGoD: omgwtfbbq
[18:36] IzNoGoD: but
[18:36] IzNoGoD: logging in ofc doesnt require your UNIQUE ACCOUNT NAME but the EMAIL YOU REGGED WITH
[18:36] IzNoGoD: so i copy paste my 10minutemail email to there
[18:36] IzNoGoD: serverlist shows up.
[18:36] IzNoGoD: i click "play now"
[18:36] IzNoGoD: as i already installed the previously mentioned .exe, bf4.exe starts (was it that hard to start a .exe?)

[18:36] IzNoGoD: then crashes
[18:36] IzNoGoD: cause its on intel
[18:37] IzNoGoD: ok, thats probably my fault, cause my OEM doesnt support my laptop with new gfx drivers anymore and thus my gfx driver doesnt know that it should be switched to AMD graphics
[18:37] IzNoGoD: so i manually switch it
[18:37] IzNoGoD: click "play game"
[18:37] IzNoGoD: ok, now its loading
[18:37] IzNoGoD: black screen, loading bar top right
[18:37] IzNoGoD: well, this is just taking 5 minutes
[18:38] IzNoGoD: ok, maybe its taking 10
[18:38] IzNoGoD: fuck this shit, im alt-tabbing
[18:38] IzNoGoD: alt tab, bf4.exe appears windowed, not maximized
[18:38] IzNoGoD: i click maximize button
