If you want to connect on your real ip, you need to activate port-forwarding in your router (mostly got ip like 192.168.0.1).

I already activate 28960 port but i cant connect on my real ip.

Look which type of adrress you've got (external or internal ip)

I personally have internal Broadband and Static IP but I don't know if it has something to do with this

There is no such command as "allowdupe".

Restart your box? I thought you said this was a home server? The word "box" normally denotes a dedicated box rented from a Game Server Provider. So, which is it? A home server or a rented dedicated box?

For the rented dedicated box, your provider should give you the IP. It should be all set up for you. If not, you need to contact them, and get them to give you the public IP.

If it is a home server, and you are connecting behind a router, you can get the public IP very easily: open your web browser, and go to:

http://whatismyipaddress.com/

That will give you the IP address that you should use in your server command line.

If you are on ADSL or ADSL2, you need to DMZ your router's UDP. Cable/Fibre tends to have this already done, but ADSL/ADSL2 doesn't do it as stock, so you need to set your router up accordingly. It's no good just forwarding/opening your ports. There is a good DMZ guide here:

http://kb.kerio.com/product/kerio-control/security/configuring-demilitarized-zone-dmz-347.html

I already configure the DMZ but its the same

Tough luck then, eh? Nothing anyone can do for you.

Whenever you say you did something, please show us the configuration of the router with a screenshot. I have the feeling you didn't setup the UDP-port-forwarding nor the DMZ.

1 Thing about homeservers:
Open Port is needed at your box
To find your server go to Server list and change internet to local
Also you can do in the Server console net_port and do /connect 127.0.0.1:PORT
You CAN'T connect to your external IP (Idk why but CoD2 won't find the server then)

But ppl can find the Server in the list then, just ask anyone to check if its working.

" You CAN'T connect to your external IP (Idk why but CoD2 won't find the server then) "

With my old rooter i could connect with my internet ip, so i can do it.

Well, if i try to connect to my external IP, CoD2 can't find the server then. I only can connect by localhost or via local list
