    Windows 10 + phone drivers

    Hi all,

I can't find a way to get my phones recognized by Windows 10 after installing the usb drivers. This seems to be a problem with WIN 10 and WIN 8. Does anybody know how to get my phones recognized? Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 and LG Magna.

I have the same problem with my Nexus 7 (Google tablet) and Windows 8.1, while it gets detected (and auto-intall of drivers) on Windows 8.

Strange thing is that I could upload .apk-files with Android SDK / Unity and the "data connection" over USB works. I just can't figure out the normal "SD-card" like interface.

You could try updating the usb driver from Google or from your OEM.

Edit: According to the page below, the problem could be caused by the Windows 10 N versions.
This version could be missing the MTP driver because it doesn't have Windows Media Player installed.

Hmm still not working for me. Download the windows update, download sdk manager + driver. I installed the driver and still got a yellow exclamation mark. In the picture I downloaded LG interface, but same happens when I use the google ADB interfaceClick image for larger version.

Data connection doesn't work either for me. Phone is not recognized at all. No drop down window when I plug my phone in

Just wondering, do you have an activated Windows? Some months ago I wanted to install the Windows Media Player, but couldn't, like Media Foundation Platform is just for ppl who bought Windows. I don't have any MFP .dll on my unactivated installation (checked with Everything.exe "mfp .dll").

But on Windows 8 (my laptop, which recognizes my tablet) I actually got quite some MFP .dll's.

So maybe just try to install Media Foundation Platform.

Update: now I was just forced to deal with missing MFP, since I couldn't install GTA5 without Media Platform Foundation.

    Try install this: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downl....aspx?id=40744

    Found link here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1...in-windows-8-1

After install, you got these .dll's:
